MERF (Mentone Educational Resources Foundation) is a non-profit in Mentone, Alabama that is striving to discover and expand the resources of the community in order to enrich the lives of all involved. Short sleeve and long sleeve "Leave Me In Mentone" t-shirts are sold to fund the varied programs such as tutoring, the community house upkeep, field trips for local students, teacher workshops for Moon Lake Elementary School teachers and weekly senior lunches.
